[origin: FR2794018A1] The invention concerns a locating and ultrasound treatment apparatus, comprising a therapeutic transducer (5) and an imaging transducer (8), mounted on a vaginal probe (1): the apparatus further comprises a pulse generator (7) energising the therapeutic transducer to carry out a necrosis of the tissues in the proximity of the transducer focal spot. The pulse generator energises the imaging transducer to produce pulsed Doppler ultra sonography for locating the regions to be treated. The inventive apparatus is particularly suited for treating uterine myoma, by necrosis of their pedicle, enabling the therapeutic transducer to locate the blood flow in the pedicle.
