[origin: WO0073151A1] The invention relates to a filler valve for filling flat pouch containers with inhomogeneous, liquid to pasty products. Said valve consists of a valve head (1) with a centric outlet channel (3) that can be opened and closed by a piston (2) that is adjustable in the valve head (1) and that communicates with the product feeder. According to the invention, said valve head (1) has a narrow rhombically or elliptically shaped cross-section that is defined by a main axis and a substantially smaller auxiliary axis (HA, NA). The outlet channel (3) that is adapted to the cross-section of the piston extends into the valve head (1) and has a length (L) that corresponds to twice the length (L') of the piston (2). The extended part (3') of the channel (3) accommodates the piston (2) in its open position (II). At least one product supply channel (4) is located on both sides beside the extended outlet channel (3) on the main axis (HA) of the valve head cross-section in the valve head (1). Said product supply channel opens into the lower part of the outlet channel (3). In addition to providing a filler valve whose cross-sectional form is adapted to flat pouch containers, the invention also guarantees that every filled individual batch contains the components of the filling product in a substantially equal ratio of ingredients.
