Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0006814A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a spunbonded nonwoven containing solvent-spun cellulosic fibres. Said method is characterized in that a cellulose solution in an aqueous tertiary amino-oxide is extruded through a nozzle (1) with spinning holes and the extruded filaments (3) are drawn in an air gap and transferred into a spinning bath (2). The filaments in the precipitating bath (2) are taken up by a first conveyor (5) on which a curtain of substantially parallel filaments of substantially uniform thickness is formed. Said filament curtain is transported by means of the first conveyor (5) from the spinning bath (2) onto a second conveyor (8) which is inclined downwards. On the second conveyor (8) the curtain is transported downwards onto a third conveyor (10) which evacuates the curtain at a speed which is lower than the speed of travel of the filament curtain transported downwards on the second conveyor.
