Abstract (en)

The trolley has an approximately square center section (2) held by two uprights on a horizontal U-shaped frame (1) with the arms of the U facing sideways. The U-shaped frame is mounted on casters (3). The hinges run parallel to the arms of the U and allow the end panels (4,5) to swivel through an angle of approximately 180 degrees. The panels may be locked in a horizontal position to make a flat trolley or bed, or may be locked with one panel up and one panel down to make a chair.

Pflegestuhl zum Transport einer bettlägerigen Person in oder aus einem Bett (1), wobei die Person aus einer sitzenden Stellung in dem Pflegestuhl (2) in eine liegende Stellung in das Bett (1) und aus einer liegenden Stellung in dem Bett (1) in eine sitzende Stellung in den Pflegestuhl (2) bringbar ist, mit einem Rahmen (3), mit zwei voneinander unabhängig verschwenkbaren, als Rückenlehne (4) bzw. als Beinablage (5) dienenden Seitenteilen (4,5) und mit einem als Sitzfläche (6) dienenden Mittelteil, wobei das Mittelteil (6) von beiden Seiten frei zugänglich ist. <IMAGE>
