Abstract (en)

A device for treating products has two parallel shafts arranged in a housing comprising two parallel cylinders. Rotating elements (64, 65) are supported over the periphery of the shafts. The shafts are sealed using a sliding ring seal and an end bearing is present that acts as a removal device. At least one of the rotating elements is provided with channel-like devices for introducing a thermal medium. The fixed bearing of the rotors are positioned in the housing of the sliding ring seal to increase the reliability of the seal. Preferred Features: A few of the rotating elements are segment plates which slant on its front surface parallel to the container wall in the axial direction.

Der Reaktor, der für die mechanisch oder thermische Behandlung flüssiger, zähflüssiger, pastöser, rieselfähiger oder loser fester Produkte der chemischen oder anderen Industrien vorgesehen ist, weist mindestens zwei parallel zueinander angeordnete, voneinander abhängig angetriebene Rührwellen auf, die in einem meist horizontal liegenden, aus zwei parallelen Teilzylindern bestehenden Gehäuse untergebracht sind. Diese Rührwellen tragen im axialen Abstand voneinander und über den Umfang verteilt eine Anzahl von rotierenden Elementen, die mit ihrem äusseren Durchmesserrand möglichst nahe an die Innenwand des Gehäuses und an den Schaft der jeweils gegenüberliegenden Rührwelle heranreichen und im gegenseitigen Eingriff zusammenwirken. Dabei sind die rotierenden Elemente (64, 66) peripher mit schrägen Flächen versehen, was den Wirkungsgrad des Reaktors merklich erhöht. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
