[origin: EP1101886A2] A motor vehicle door locking mechanism has a door lock and a servo lock holder with an adjustable locking pin (4) that puts a vehicle door in its final locking position with locking pins in a locking position for the encompassing rotating portion. A driving device (5) works on the locking pins using an in-line arrangement for an operating link (6). One end of the operating link is affected by an operating element driven by the driving device.
