Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0007821A1] The present invention relates to a water-soluble transferable colorant composition which comprises a water soluble transfer material and a colorant wherein the transferable colorant is capable of transferring from a substrate and adhering to a receptor element upon the application of heat energy to the rear surface of the substrate, the transferable colorant strips from the front surface of the substrate when heated, the transferable colorant providing adherence to said receptor element by flowing onto said receptor element and solidifying thereon. The present invention further relates to a method of transferring the water-soluble transferable colorant composition to a receptor element.
