[origin: WO0006614A1] There is provided a catalyst containing a transition metal precursor having the formula (C5R<1>5)TiY3, (wherein each y is independently selected from the group consisting of a C1-C20 alkoxide, a C1-C20 amide, a C1-C20 carboxylate and a C1-C20 carbomate) an alcohol or carboxylic acid, an aluminoxane, and optionally a substituted bulky phenol and/or a support or spray drying material. There is also provided a polymerization process employing the catalyst composition, a polymer produced using the catalyst, and a cable produced therefrom.
