[origin: WO0044815A1] Disclosed is oriented, propylene polymer film, the oxygen barrier property of which is substantially improved. The improvement is achieved by incorporating in the propylene polymer composition from which the film is made grafted copolymer material comprising predominantely crystalline, propylene polymer material, the polymer or polymers of which have grafts of polymerized monomer material of a group that includes styrene, p-alkylstyrenes, acrylic acid, alkacrylic acids, alkyl alkacrylates, acrylonitrile and, with or without ethylene, vinyl acetate.
