Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0006863A1] The invention relates to a drive rod fitting having a corner deflection element (1). The drive rods (5) at the level of the sash edge are coupled together via a deflection member (4) which is guided in an angular guiding channel (3). A sash angle cover element (2) can be joined to the shaped sash frame. The corner deflection element (1) can be fixed to the lateral walls of the groove which receives the fitting in a positive and/or non-positive fit via a retaining element (11) even before insertion of the fixing screws. To provide a retaining element (11) and a corner deflection element (1) which on the one hand contribute to the secure fixing of the corner deflection element (1) and on the other hand are simple and straightforward to mount the invention provides for the retaining element to consists of an angular clamp (11) having a U-shaped cross-section whose legs (15) pass through lateral recesses (16) in the margins of the sash angle cover element (2) or the cover rail, such that the U-shaped link (19) contacts the sash angle cover element (2) or cover rail. The legs (15) cooperate with the side walls of the groove and at least partly engage the marginal recesses (16) from behind.
