[origin: WO0075904A1] The invention relates to a circuit for recording, transmitting and evaluating measured values. Said circuit comprises a measured value recording part (1), a measured value evaluating part (2) and a connection (5) which is located between the measured value recording part (1) and the measured value evaluating part (2) and which consists of only a forward line (3) and a return line (4). The measured value recording part (1) comprises a measured value sensor (6), a measuring transducer circuit (7), a switching controller (8) connected in incoming circuit to said measuring transducer circuit (7), and a current regulator (9) connected in incoming circuit to said switching controller (8). The measured value evaluating part (2) has a voltage source (10) and an evaluating circuit (11), and the switching controller (8) supplies a constant operating voltage for the measuring transducer circuit (7). The current regulator (9), controlled by the measuring transducer circuit (7), adjusts a measured value current and supply current which represents the measured value and which flows through the forward line (3) and the return line (4). According to the invention, the power available to the measuring transducer circuit (7) is optimized by virtue of the fact that the current consumption of the measuring transducer circuit (7) can be controlled and is controlled such that the voltage drop via the current regulator (9) is as small as possible.
