[origin: WO0075947A1] The invention concerns an electromechanical relay comprising an electric contact (14) with mechanical displacement, a transistor (15) parallel on the electric contact, and means (10, 17, 20, 22, 32, 38) for: closing the contact (14) for a voltage V at its terminals corresponding to the transistor (15) direction of flow and producing a conduction of the transistor starting before the contact closure and ending after said closure; opening the contact for a current in the contact (14) corresponding to the transistor (15) direction of flow and producing a conduction of the transistor starting before the contact opening and ending after said opening. The invention is applicable to electromechanical switches, hybrid relays.
