Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0008799A2] The present invention relates to the treatment of a collision when a base station (1) and a mobile station (2, 3) simultaneously attempt to make a call according to DECT standard. Whenever a simultaneous call request occurs, the call request by the other party is rejected. According to the present invention, it is already determined during logon and/or synchronization of the mobile part (2, 3) with the base station (1) who should start a new attempt to set up a connection (8, 9) in case of collision by the mobile part (2, 3) or the base station (1). To this end, an information element (IE) indicating which of the two parties should again try to establish a connection is exchanged between the base station (1) and the corresponding mobile part (2, 3).
