Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1103441A1] The passage floor (1) consists of a first panel (2) fixed to the end of one vehicle section, a second panel (3) fixed to the end of the other, and a moving panel (4) which covers part of each fixed panel. The two moving panels and the fixed panel are connected by a deformable mechanism (5) formed by pivoted levers (6) and linking bars (7). The levers and bars form a deformable parallelogram which guides the moving panel when the vehicle sections move relative to one another, especially on bends or turns.
