Abstract (en)
Composite paperboard container constructions (10,11) providing optimized axial crush strength, related properties are formed of one, two, or three structural paperboard plies (20) that are arranged to form a layered body wall (18) having a cross-section of the construction; high strength paperboard layer (30)/low strength paperboard layer (34)/high strength paperboard layer (32). Preferably, the container body (10,11) is formed of one or two structural plies and at least one structural ply (20) is a multiple layer paperboard having both high strenth (30,32) and low strength paperboard layers (34). <IMAGE>
