The printed product stream dividing method has the printed products transported around a circular path, with forwarding of selected printed products (1A,2A,3A) to a first partial product stream on the inside of the latter and forwarding of further printed products (3B,4B,5B) to a second partial product stream on the inside of the circular path. An Independent claim for a printed product stream dividing device is also included.

Ein Verfahren zum Teilen eines Produktstroms sieht vor, dass eine Vielzahl von Produkten (3) einer kreisförmigen Transportbahn zugeführt wird, ein erstes Produkt (1A, 2A, 3A) der Vielzahl von Produkten (3) aus der kreisförmigen Bewegungsbahn heraus nach innen an einen ersten Teilstrom (A) übergeben wird und ein zweites Produkt (1B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B) aus der kreisförmigen Bewegungsbahn heraus nach innen an einen zweiten Produktstrom (B) übergeben wird. Eine Vorrichtung zum Teilen eines Produktstroms (1) umfasst eine um eine Mittelachse (22) drehbare Basis (20) mit einer Außenlinie (24) und einer Innenlinie (26) und mindestens eine an der Basis (20) angeordnete Übergabevorrichtung (30) zum Übernehmen der Produkte (3) des Produktstroms, die in eine erste Position zum Aufnehmen eines ersten Produktes (1A, 2A, 3A) an der Außenlinie (24) und in eine zweite Position zur Übergabe des ersten Produkts (1A, 2A, 3A) an einen Teilstrom (A) an der Innenlinie (26) bewegbar ist. <IMAGE>
