Abstract (en)
A portable tent (10) comprises a closed loop resilient framework (11), an interconnection means (12), an upper shell (13), and a set of anchoring means (14). The resilient framework (11) can be bent to form a predetermined shape. The interconnection means (12) is fixed to the resilient framework (11) so as to bend the closed loop resilient framework (11) into the predetermined shape, which is a symmetrical shape that is substantially a U-shape while viewing from a first direction, and is substantially a arch-shape while viewing from a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction. The upper shell (13) is with its periphery fixed to the closed loop resilient framework (11). The set of anchoring means (14) is used for anchoring the closed loop resilient framework (11) to the ground. This portable tent (10) is self-erecting and can be easily set up, and it can be easily folded into a small space for transport. <IMAGE>
