Abstract (en)
The boot clamp consists of a base plate with at least one jaw (2) pivoting about a horizontal axis and connected to a drive arm (9) operated by the boot, and a retaining element opposite the jaw. The arm has a cam section (9a) co-operatig with a mobile locking element (12), and the jaw has a return spring (58) which tends to hold it in the open position. The retaining element (3) is in the form of a second jaw identical to the first and connected to it by a kinematic link, e.g. a curved bar, ensuring that both jaws move down at the same time.

Fixation automatique de surf à neige prévue pour maintenir une chaussure par ses côtés. Elle comprend au moins une mâchoire (2) solidaire d'un bras d'entraînement (9) destiné à être entraîné par la chaussure. La mâchoire présente une partie en forme de came (9) coopérant avec un élément de blocage (12) mobile dans un guidage (13) de telle sorte qu'un blocage de la mâchoire est assuré pour différentes positions de la mâchoire. La mâchoire (2) est munie d'un ressort de rappel tendant à la maintenir en position ouverte et la mâchoire et l'élément de blocage comprennent des moyens coopérant entre eux pour maintenir l'élément de blocage écarté de sa position de blocage lorsque la mâchoire est relevée. La mâchoire ne peut pas se fermer intempestivement et l'élément de blocage ne gêne pas le mouvement de fermeture. <IMAGE>
