Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1104733A1] A swivel platform for a rail vehicle comprises a bottom frame and a rotatable top frame. The top frame is blocked against rotations by a locking element (1,2) having a locking pin provided with an operating handle (59) which is movable between a horizontal and a vertical position. The locking pin is rotatable over about 180 DEG , so as to avoid damage thereof upon inadvertant swinging of the top frame when the operating handle (59) is in the vertical position. <IMAGE>
