Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1104828A2] A connector for extending roof laths beyond the building line, or for simply connecting shorter laths, has a folded metal structure with a U-cross section. The top of the connector has an array of nail holes (2) in an offset pattern with the offset of adjacent holes about 5 mm, to reduce the risk of splitting the wooden laths. Nails or self tapping screws can be used.
