[origin: WO0010785A1] The invention relates to a milling device for machining concrete surfaces and a corresponding milling method. By means of said milling device (1), which comprises lateral milling rolls (2) whose circumferential milling elements (25) extend as far as the outer edge, ceilings/floors (6) and walls (7) can be machined fully as far as the corresponding adjoining walls. Advantageously, milling elements (26) are also fixed to the faces of such lateral milling rolls (20) so that in a single working step a marginal strip (8) of a laterally adjoining wall (7) can also be milled. The milling waste is aspirated by means of a suction device so that the milling device can be used even in contaminated spaces.
