[origin: WO0009807A1] The invention relates to the use of pure, unfilled polyurethane for chamber filling bodies and to a chamber filling body which are suitable for blocking the chambers of rails of railborne vehicles by casting in the form of a rigid foam with a mass density ranging from 40 to 160 kg/m<3> in a casting mold matching exactly the shape of the chamber. The polyurethane to be cast can be adjusted and the casting mold can be thermally regulated in such a way that the chamber filling body forms a thin layer. According to the invention, it is particularly advantageous to produce the filling body in the casting mold in the form of a shaped foam body with recesses or constant cross sections having a length that is several times greater than the length required for installation, to cut said body in situ with a cutting tool and/or to cut out the recesses for the components coupled to the rails.
