[origin: WO0009830A1] A method for producing a fibre-reinforced laminate (10), especially a wood laminate, whereby a fibre layer (15), a bonding agent (16) - preferably glue - are placed in between two wooden layers (12, 14) that are to be assembled and subsequently joined. The at least one fibre layer (15) inserted between the wooden layers (12,14) is stretched in at least one direction on a plane of expansion, whereby a defined tensile force is employed, and joined to the wooden layers (12, 14) in a stretched state so that the fibre layer (15) remains permanently tensed. The laminate (10) thus obtained is stronger and more rigid.
