[origin: WO0005478A1] In a screening arrangement for a window having a screening member (5), which is movable between an inactive position in or at the top member (1) of a frame or sash and a screening position by means of a parallel guiding arrangement passing through an end profile (7) of the screening member (5), said parallel guiding arrangement having two cords (8, 9), a battery-powered electric driving device (12-18) has been built into the end profile (7), said driving device having a drive motor (16) acting directly on the parallel guiding cords (8, 9). The same mounting of an electric driving device may be made in a mounting profile releasably connected with the end profile of the screening device in a separate mounting and parallel guiding arrangement.
