[origin: DE19918161A1] The aim of the invention is to improve a coolant compressor system comprising a drive motor, a compressor which is driven by said drive motor and which has several cylinders that are arranged in a V-shape and a compressor shaft that supports eccentrics, for driving the pistons that operate in the respective cylinders, in such a way as to achieve the smoothest running possible at any desired V-angle. To this end, the cylinders are arranged at a V-angle of less than 90 DEG and the compressor shaft is mounted with only two of its bearing sections in corresponding compressor shaft bearings. Furthermore, the eccentrics are situated between the bearing sections and an individual eccentric is provided for each piston and is located at a distance from the other individual eccentrics for the respective other pistons.
