[origin: WO0010188A1] The invention relates to a switch-operating lever unit for switches, comprising a switch-operating lever body (2) on which a contact lever (3) is mounted. Caps (8) for covering and mounting the switch-operating lever body (2) are arranged at two opposite ends of said body (2). The unit can further comprise a tensioning device which can act on the contact lever and is positioned either outside the space housing the contact lever and within the switch-operating lever body or is covered and mounted on the switch-operating lever body (2).
