[origin: EP1106110A1] The adjustable arm rest (4) for an office chair is mounted on a tube (2) which fits telescopically over a support tube (1). This is fixed in position by a latch (9) which cooperates with a vertical row of notches (10) on the support. A second row of notches on the support allows the arm rest to be rotated and fixed at different heights in this new position.
