[origin: US2001002747A1] Cross-country ski binding for a boot equipped with two bars (61, 62), comprising a latch (2) that can be actuated by a lever (5) to hold the front bar (61) and a link rod (3) equipped with a hook (4) for catching on the rear bar (62) of the boot. The link rod (3) is urged by a tension spring (6) and is articulated to a point (26) located between the two bars of the boot, preferably on a spindle (26) secured to the latch. This construction is particularly compact and allows the boot a great deal of movement.

Fixation de ski de fond pour chaussure munie de deux barrettes (61, 62), comprenant un verrou (2) actionnable par un levier (5) pour la retenue de la barrette antérieure (61) et une biellette (3) munie d'un crochet (4) pour son accrochage sur la barrette postérieure (62) de la chaussure. La biellette (3) est sollicitée par un ressort de traction (6) et elle est articulée en un point (26) situé entre les deux barrettes de la chaussure, de préférence sur un axe (26) solidaire du verrou. Cette construction est particulièrement compacte et autorise un grande débattement de la chaussure. <IMAGE>
