[origin: EP1106312A2] The cube-cutting and slicing machine has an insertion shaft (2) for the foodstuffs. The cutting device has a grating cutter and a rotary slicing cutter (7S). The internal cross section of the insertion shaft can be altered by altering the position of at least one of its long walls (10S). The output cross section of the insertion shaft can be enlarged via the effective cutting cross section in grating cutting mode.
