Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1106313A2] The method involves forming prongs on the ends of the sections and gluing them together. A gluing element (10) is coated with glue from a glue reservoir (14) and the adhering glue coating stripped to form a predetermined coating layer, one end of a veneer section (2) is fed to the gluing element and glue from the coating layer is transferred to one end of the veneer section, which is then assembled with the section to which it is to be joined. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for manufacturing veneer strip from individual sections.
