A method and device (1) for feeding sheets (2) to a wrapping line (3), whereby a suction pickup roller (8) is rolled along a bottom opening (6) of a hopper (4) containing a stack (5) of sheets, to at least partly wind about the pickup roller (8) a sheet (2), in the stack (5), located at the bottom opening (6) of the hopper (4), and is then rotated about a respective central axis (9) to release the sheet (2) wound about the pickup roller to an intermediate roller (11). <IMAGE>
