Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2801625A1] The fire resistant door lock has a bolt (9) of low melting point material and a spring (23) to biases it to the closed position. A handle (1) is connected to the bolt and operated from outside the housing to move it to the open position. The lock has an auxiliary fire-resistant bolt (11) connected to the first for common movement and also biased by the spring. The two bolts can be mounted on a common pivot axis.
