Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1106950A2] The heat exchanger unit for cooling corrosive fluids comprises a non-enameled tube carrier plate (9) which separates the cooling head from the heat exchanger housing and is provided on the housing side with a cover plate (31) consisting of high-temperature resistant plastic material. The contact zone between the cover plate and the heat exchanger tube (11) houses a self-adjusting sealing arrangement (39, 41).
