Abstract (en)
A method for producing an adhesive backed stamp, or sign, badge etc., has the pattern applied as a layer (2) to a fibrous support layer (1). This is backed by a first adhesive layer (6) and a reinforcing layer (7). A second adhesive layer (7, 8) is applied and covered by a removable cover layer (9), e.g. a silicone coated foil. The adhesive strength of the first adhesive layer is less than that of the last adhesive layer. This allows the stamp to be removed, e.g. for collectors.
