Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1107360A2] The plug connector has a contact strip, several connection contacts for connection to complementary contacts, a housing for the contact strip with contact chambers for the connection contacts. The contact strip has at least one blade contact for contacting an insulated conductor and is latched into a first position in the housing in which the conductor can be placed in a conduit essentially perpendicular to the plugging direction. The plug connector has a contact strip (20), several connection contacts (22) for connection to complementary contacts, a housing (12) for the contact strip with contact chambers (13) for the connection contacts. The contact strip has at least one blade contact (25) for contacting an insulated conductor and is latched into a first position in the housing in which the conductor can be placed in a conduit essentially perpendicular to the plugging direction. The contact strip can be latched in a second end position in the housing in which all blade contacts contact the conductor.
