Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0824280A2] The automated process involves making wired connections to the electrical starter modules Ä1Ü of gas discharge lamps. Each starter module is provided with a connection terminal Ä4Ü that has a bracket part Ä5Ü which is latched onto an associated socket plate. The connector has one or more blade type contacts set into a U shaped section Ä2Ü with guides Ä19Ü for the wiring. The wiring is fed by a controlled handling unit that inserts and presses the wire onto the contact.
