The system has two reservoir containers and a device for electrostatic isolation of at least one container and a spray device from the delivery system so the container and spray device can be brought to a high voltage relative to the object. The isolating device consists of an electrically insulating line section (18) between the containers that also forms the paint feed into the second container and a pad (22) movable reciprocally in the line that removes electrically conducting coating material from the inner surface of the line section as it passes through it.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lackieranlage mit einer Sprühvorrichtung (12) zum Aufbringen von Beschichtungsmaterial auf einen Gegenstand, insbesondere eine Kraftfahrzeugkarosserie, mit zwei hintereinander oder parallel geschalteten als Zwischenreservoir dienenden Aufnahmebehältern (8, 10) und mit einer Trennvorrichtung (14, 16) zum elektrostatischen Isolieren zumindest eines der Aufnahmebehälter (10) und der nachgeschalteten Sprühvorrichtung (12) gegen eine Zuführseite, so dass zumindest der eine Aufnahmebehälter (10) und die Sprühvorrichtung (12) gegenüber dem zu lackierenden Gegenstand auf Hochspannung bringbar sind; um einen kontinuierlichen Lackierbetrieb bei verlustfreier Nutzung des Lackmaterials sowie konstruktiv einfacher Ausführung der Lackieranlage zu erreichen, wird diese erfindungsgemäß so ausgebildet, dass die elektrostatische Trennvorrichtung (14) einen zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten Aufnahmebehälter (8, 10) vorgesehenen elektrisch isolierenden Leitungsabschnitt (18), der auch der Lackzuführung in den zweiten Aufnahmebehälter (10) dient, und einen im Inneren des Leitungsabschnitts (18) hin- und herbewegbaren Molch (22) umfasst, der beim Hindurchbewegen durch den Leitungsabschnitt (18) dessen innere Oberfläche von elektrisch leitendem Beschichtungsmaterial befreit. <IMAGE>
