[origin: EP1108536A1] A method for continuous lubrication of a print roller control system has a direct mechanical drive between a control element (3) on the fixed support (1) and meshing with a control element (4) on the rotating roller. The space (16) containing the control system is lubricated by a lubricant feed (14) through the bearings and distributed by centrifugal force. Excess lubricant drains to the bottom of the system where a drain (15) is connected to the lubricant recycling system.
