Abstract (en)
A laser markable plastics material containing as dopant singly or multiply coated graphite particles ,and which surprisingly gives improved contrast, is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparation of the plastics material by mixing a thermoplastic plastics material with graphite particles carrying one or more coatings and forming of the plastics material by heating of the mixture; (2) a molded body comprising the laser markable plastics material .

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft lasermarkierbare Kunststoffe, die sich dadurch auszeichnen, daß sie als Dotierstoff ein- oder mehrfach beschichtete Graphitteilchen enthalten.
