Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method for air texturizing or air entangling a metal or metal-containing monofilament yarn (7) with a multifilament yarn (2) to give a novel multifilament-metal monofilament hybrid yarn (9). The monofilament yarn (7) used may, for example, be a full-metal thread, a metal-coated chemical fiber or a metal wire heald. It is supplied to the air texturizing nozzle (5) as the stationary thread/and or the fancy yarn together with the multifilament yarn (2) and is texturized according to the invention, however, a plurality of differently textured monofilament yarns (7) can also be used. The multifilament yarn (2) or additional monofilament yarns (7) may consist of natural or synthetic continuous fibers. According to the invention, an adequately textile, twist-free, easily processible, very long-wearing and at the same time electroconductive hybrid yarn (9) is obtained. The inventive hybrid yarn is mainly used to be manufactured to give electromagnetically shielded textile fabrics for electrostatic and/or electromagnetic shields for the protection of human beings and technical devices. The inventive material is also used in the production of abrasion-resistant textile fabrics for the automotive industry, of resistance-heatable textile fabrics for the interior of homes or for passenger compartments of vehicles, and of shielding, anti-electrostatic, heatable and/or sensorized garments or textile products.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Luftblastexturierung oder Luftverwirbelung mindestens eines Multifilgarns (2) mit mindestens einem Monofilgarn (7) offenbart. Das Monofilgarn (7) wird als Steherfaden und/oder Effektfaden zusammen mit dem Multifilgarn (2) einer Lufttexturierdüse (5) zugeführt und dort zu einem neuartigen Multifil-Monofil Hybridgarn (9) verblasen. Dabei können mehrere, unterschiedlich beschaffene Monofilgarne (7) verwendet werden. Sowohl Multifilgarn (2) als auch Monofilgarn (7) können aus natürlichen oder synthetischen Endlosfasern bestehen. Durch Wahl eines Metallfadens (7) oder einer Metalllitze (7) als Monofilgarn (7) erhält man ein vollwertig texturiertes, verdrillungsfreies, leicht verarbeitbares und zugleich elektrisch leitfähiges Hybridgarn (9). Es werden auch Verwendungen des metallischen Hybridgarns (9) zur Herstellung von Textilstoffen für elektrostatische und/oder elektromagnetische Abschirmungen zum Schutz von Menschen und technischen Geräten oder für elektrisch beheizbare Sitzbezüge angegeben. <IMAGE>
