[origin: EP1108844A2] A method for fitting a hinge to a glass door has a grip block (4) applied to a hole (6) through the glass using adhesive. The hinge flap has a hollow structure (14) inside which a floating clamping plate (10) is secured using threaded fasteners. The hinge is secured to the grip block by further threaded fasteners. This allows a set amount of vertical and horizontal adjustment.
