[origin: DE19963256C1] The HV load switch has a contact system provided with 2 driven contacts (2,8), operated by respective drives (7,10), which are interlinked so that the release signal for the second drive is provided after the contact operated by the first drive has reached a given position. The position of the latter contact can be provided via an electromagnetic sensor (14), a variable resistance device, or a pair of auxiliary contacts.
