Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0014371A1] The invention relates to a screw-on hinge (10) for a door or shutter (16) which is vertically or horizontally mounted on a frame or wall (12) in a pivoting manner, which removably holds the door or shutter (16) in at least one pivot-angle position (-5 DEG ; +85 DEG ; +175 DEG ). Said screw-on hinge consists of a first hinge part (18) which can, for example, be fixed to the frame, and a second hinge part (24) which can, for example, be fixed to the door or shutter (16). Said hinge parts (18, 24) are both symmetrical about their bisecting line and each have a hole (26, 28) for receiving a hinge pin system (30). The hinge pin system comprises a sleeve (34) which is connected to the one hinge part (18) in a non-rotating manner, a spring detent element being positioned between said sleeve (34) and the other hinge part (24). According to the invention the hinge pin system (30) has two parts. The one end of the one hinge part which faces the other hinge part forms the detent element and said detent element is embodied by a face of the sleeve and comprises a helical compression spring (52) which is axially positioned inside the sleeve.
