[origin: WO0016358A1] The invention relates to a switch fitted with an actuating lever (13) that may be actuated by an actuating handle (17) which engages in a toggle joint (6, 7) by means of a moving spring (18) that produces interaction between a switching shaft (3) for actuating a contact (1) and a ratchet lever (10) for controlling disconnection in case of an overload. The switch also has a catch lever (20) interacting with the actuating lever (13), which prevents the actuating handle (13) from moving to disconnecting position when the contact (1) is blocked, wherein the catch lever (20) can be automatically brought to a catch position in relation to the actuating lever by rotating the switch shaft (3) when the contact (1) closes.
