[origin: EP1110472A1] The gemstone has a series of cut facets (16, 25, 26, 27) on its crown (10) and base, arranged in a hexagonal pattern about its axis of symmetry, while its shoulder (12) between the crown and base has a lobed edge (20) with a series of alternating rounded projections (21) and recesses (22). The crown has a hexagonal table (16) with at least six contiguous triangular primary facets (25) alternating with six secondary facets (26) which have six shoulder facets (27) adjoining their edges.
