Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1110499A2] The dishwasher has a processing chamber (2) for accommodating objects (30) to be cleaned using a cleaning medium and a weight detection arrangement in the form of at least one electronic transducer. The one or more transducers (19a-19d;20a-20d;23,26,27,31) is mounted on a side wall of the processing chamber, e.g. near a washing rack for holding the objects to be cleaned. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of operating a dishwasher.
