[origin: EP1110753A2] The method is for the production of mosaic-type presentations and uses whole and parts of tiles, platelets of stone, wood, or similar and has at least one area of a picture acting as a pattern divided into part areas with different colors. On a sideways moved pattern (B15) in the area divided into parts, the corresponding tile parts (31), tiles, stone or wood platelets, or similar are so laid that their front sides are facing the pattern and that they are connected to form a unit.
