[origin: EP1111142A2] The fitting has a key bar with edge cap (9) and slide plate (10). The edge cap has flexible locking noses (2), and the slide plate has barb hooks (7), which correspond in shape and location to the noses. Noses and/or hooks are positioned singly or in groups around the periphery, and the noses are smaller than the hooks. The end (24) of the plate facing the road cap forms an integral unit (12) with a square protective cap (13), which consists of wear-resistant plastic.
