[origin: EP1111319A2] The arrangement is a chest or cabinet with a compressor whose electrical drive motor is driven by an electronic revolution rate controller, a refrigerant circuit with a condenser, an evaporator and an expansion device, a cold chamber closable by a door or other cover and a cold chamber temperature regulator. The revolution rate controller and temperature regulator are combined into a structural unit spatially separate from the compressor. The arrangement is in the form of a chest or cabinet and has a compressor (5) whose electrical drive motor is driven by an electronic revolution rate controller, a refrigerant circuit with a condenser (7), an evaporator (6) and an expansion device between them, a cold chamber (1) closable by a door (3) or other cover and a regulator for the cold chamber temperature. The revolution rate controller and the temperature regulator are combined into a structural unit arranged spatially separately from the compressor.
