[origin: EP1111633A2] The finger protection profile (1) has at least one hollow chamber (50) in the head region connected to a pressure wave switch. The profile has a second hollow chamber (60) connected to the pressure wave switch of the first hollow chamber. The hollow chambers have electrically operated safety switching strips. The chambers are connected by bridges so that the deformation of the first chamber leads to a deformation of the second chamber.
